    I have cleaned the carb and cylinder but I still can't get it to start. The piston and top of the cylinder are all pitted & there is little bits of metal shavings pinting off and stuff. Is this normal for a poston or does it need replacing?

    Thank you for your help Spud, I've been unable to find any info about the 310 anywhere else. Still i have been unable to get it started, which is strainge because it was a really good runner when i left it..

    Hi, I have a montesa 310 which I used to ride a lot a few years ago, but it has been sitting in my garage since then. I am trying to get it running again but can't remember if it is a 2 or 4-stroke? and what fuel mix? Also I don't suppose anyone knows where i can find a manual for it?
