    beta minitrial 20

    Hi, i've just recently bought a second hand Beta minitrial 20, electric Beta, for my daughter, to play around in the garden, and see if she likes it or not. Bought the bike second hand, so it has a little work to it. Chain and sprockets are worn out. Now, i do not seem to find a sprocket set for a reasonable price for this bike, also, it has a very narrow chain. I've seen a conversion on youtube were they use an Oset chain kit for this bike, but it seems like there a lot less teeth to the sprocket doing that conversion, so the bike will run a lot quicker, and loose a lot off torque. I've seen bigger Oset sprocket aswell, but how do i know wich one to order? I would like to keep te transmission ratio as much to stock as possible. Does anyone over here now what chain and sprocket kit can be adapted to this bike?
  2. Hello, i own a 250 Factory Beta and i'm looking to buy a more recent (second hand) one. My current bike is a 2012, and i came across a 2018 that i might be interested for. Problem is, it's a 300 Factory, and i do not need more power. I only got into trials a year ago, have been riding motorcycles for the past 20 years dough, in trials dough, i'm a beginner. I'm not a heavy person, and the 250 has all the power i need. Now here's the question, is it possible to make a 300 factory handle more, enginewise, like my current 250? What's the difference between a 300 factory, vs a 300 ss, enginewise? Could i tame a 300 factory down with mods like a lower compression head, and flywheel weight? Or should i better look further till i come across a more recent 250?
