  1. Hi all, Just to let you all know, I've managed to bleed the clutch. After repeatedly trying vacuum, back bleed with a large syringe with no joy i decided to use some air pressure from a compressor and hey presto job done in seconds. I had read all the fixes on here but just couldn't get air out of system. Reading about the system many have struggled so if all else fails please try forcing air out with some pressure from a compressor. Obviously make sure you can control the pressure and that you have enough fluid in pipes so you don't just fill servo back up with air ? Hope this helps someone else in the future ?
  2. Just thought I'd add a bit more info ladies and gents. When removing the servo there was a small ball bearing which I presumed fitted inside recess on the piston but when I looked on parts schematic it shows the ball bearing fitted at clutch basket end and not next to servo piston. Can anyone confirm this as I don't want to put it inside the shaft and it falls into gearbox. I'm sure you can tell this is a new (old) bike for me and I'm trying to navigate my way round it to make myself a nice little runner. Also I've had complete clutch system apart trying to figure out why I can bleed it and I do mean every part ? which I now regret. Clutch worked OK before but bite was to far away so tried to bleed/ replace old fluid thinking there was air or old fluid in system. Please any advice info greatly appreciated ?
  3. Hi all, I'm hoping someone can help me with the process of bleeding the clutch on a 1997 Beta Techno 250. I have tried almost every conceivable way, back bleed vacuum bleed and even the traditional way of pumping master cylinder but all to no avail. I've even removed servo and filled void with fluid hoping that when I reconnected everything and pushed piston back it would force air out. I'm at the end of my tether guys please help. Thanks in advance ?
  4. Cheers Jon boy, I've tried Ebay but no joy ☹ I've heard that the engine in a Beta Alp is the same as Techno can anyone confirm this and if so what years are the same.
  5. Hi, can anyone point me in the direction of a Beta Spares dealer/shop. I'm actually looking for a topend rebuild gasket set for a Beta techno 250 1997. Cheers in advance
