  1. Yeah Rossi is amazing in the corners and is an absolutely amazing rider, same for Edwards, I just wondered why Yamaha hadn't developed the bike to keep up with the Hondas and Dukes on the straights, do they choose not to, I dunno.

  3. I bet I look like a right coding noob, when really I'm not into it at all, a mate just showed me it.

Looks better on a page with more images on that google to be honest.

Works fine with Firefox for me, and apparently works with Opera too.

  4. I don't think it's the software, I think it's something simple like the ratio, like 1024 x 768 - 4:3 and 1280 x 1024 = 5:4 or something?

I just want an explanation and suggestions from what other people do with this problem, but I'll check the software out anyway.

  5. Man that is cool, only problem how do you catch that pesky "add reply" button?

    Heh, true.

You just copy it all and paste it into your address bar instead of the website address, then you gotta take out the space between java and script and hit go, it should work.

  6. A friend just showed me this.

Go onto any site, here now if you liek and type this into the address bar and hit go.

    java script:R=0; x1=.1; y1=.05; x2=.25; y2=.24; x3=1.6; y3=.24; x4=300; y4=200; x5=300; y5=200; DI=document.getElementsByTagName("img"); DIL=DI.length; function A(){for(i=0; i-DIL; i++){DIS=DI[ i ].style; DIS.position='absolute'; DIS.left=(Math.sin(R*x1+i*x2+x3)*x4+x5)+"px"; DIS.top=(Math.cos(R*y1+i*y2+y3)*y4+y5)+"px"}R++}setInterval('A()',5); void(0);

    EDIT:

Okay, cos the forum is clever it's putting a space between the java and script at the beginning, so delete that space then try :icon_rendeer:

  7. Okay, so my camera takes pictures at 2016 x 1512, I used to resize them to 1024 x 768 for wallpapers, however I've recently upped my screen resolution to 1280 x 1024 and now my pictures wont resize to that, they'll only go to 1280 x 960, why is this? Are they not the same ratio?

If I unlock the aspect ratio thing then the picture will stretch right, it's probably something obvious but I'm stumped!

    Any help greatly appreciated.

  8. I used to have a good game for the PC that had a very good indoor trials riding part in it, you guys probably know the name, I can't remember, it had road racing, track racing moto x, super x, stunts i think and trials.

I think it was called Motoracer 3.

Never had it but always wanted to try it.

    Cheers

    Scott

That's the one lad, great game!

  10. I know pretty much nothing about displays and so I need some avice.

When I get my Xbox 360 at Christmas I was just going to run it on my 14 inch SDTV DVD Combi, however I have recently found out that I could connect up a CRT computer motior to it via the VGA HD AV Cable, would this give much better picture quality over my TV/DVD Combi ?

My computer monitor is a Compaq S710, it's highest resolution is 1280 x 1024, but if I could get another second hand on the cheap I may consider getting a better one.

Also what's the difference between VGA and SVGA, I think my monitor is SVGA, does this matter?

I'm guessing I would also need to get another set of PC speakers and connect those up too, how would I do that, is it the same cable?

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated,

    Thanks in advance,

    Richard.

p.s reading a faq over on the xbox forums it says:

"The 1280x1024 resolution will only be available for selection if you have connected your Xbox 360 to Xbox Live."

Why is this, I wouldn't be able to connect to xbox live as I dont have broadband, does this mean I wouldn't be able to to use my monitor at 1280 x 1024, would 1024 x 768 still be an improvemant over my normal TV.

Sorry for the long post, but I really need some help, I have asked at the XBox forums bu they're not the friendliest bunch...

  11. Heheh, that's not really mine, I wish it was, I just came across it on neowin and thought I'd share it with people/make people think I'm awesome/rich and nerdy.

    I've only got a 360 N64 NDS and Gameboy Colour :D I want a Wii :D
