    For 5000ft I use a 112 main, 35 pilot and needle in stock position. Timing is stock. This is on a 2004' 290. Good luck

    Yeah, after a few rides it is getting a bit easier. I tried the black levers and the engagement is a bit mushier. I like the quicker silver levers, but the pull with the black ones is a tad easier. I am staying stock.. So, it looks like it will get better over time and I will get stronger. Even as it is, it is still lighter than any other brand bike I have tried, great clutch Sherco !! Dave

    I just got my new 04 Sherco 290 and it feels like the clutch pulls harder than on the 03. Does anyone else have this problem or am I just getting weaker. I tried putting on last years shorty black levers and it still feels different. What did they change ? Thanks Dave
