  1. I started disassembling the forks today to replace the seals. I got the point where I have the forks off, the dust caps off, the circlip off, but I'm having a hard time removing the leg. Is it just a matter of using leg like a slide hammer and with some force trying to separate the two parts of the fork? I can't seem to find any other way to separate the two in order to replace the seal. Any help is great. Thanks
  2. Sounds fairly straight forward. Do you recall how much oil each leg requires? Thanks!
  3. okay, I'm wondering how much is involved with replacing the fork seals on my 1994 gas gas JT 250. I believe the forks are paioli's. I'm quite handy, so I dont mind undertaking a project. Any and all help would be great. Thanks!
  4. I'm also looking to replace my fork seals on my 1994 JT 250 gas gas. Anyone have any advice for where I can get some new seals, and where to start with this project. I'm a newbie with working on moto bikes, but I'm quite handy, so I dont mind undertaking this project. Thanks in advance!!
