  3. @rustyrider Wow man I'm really impressed by all the work you've done. You created a one in a world kind of Montesa, I Love it. How many hours did it take ? Did you brought the parts at a painter's to give them this color ? It's awesome If I had such a beautiful bike I wouldn't bring it into the mud for sure !

  9. @ScottDownSouth Thanks for your help mate ! I'll definitely do that whenever I've got time. The second one is a Montesa Cota 75 (idk the exact year, probably in the late 70's). I love your bike, it's has be amazing to ride I guess ! Do you have any idea about it value on the market ? what oil lubricant are you using for the mix ? I'd thought about 10w40 or Motul 300v. And that about the oil lub for the gearbox ? Is there any type of spark plug I should use ? Thanks for your help !
  10. @RonH Thanks mate ! Do you know of those are the same parts ? I'll take a look, I guess it's gonna help me a lot !
  11. Hi there, I'm starting a Montesa Cota 200 restauration. My Grandfather bought it at the Montesa factory back in the time (first hand). She stayed maybe 30 years without starting. Could you help me with find the documentation I need (I speak Spanish so it might be easier to find one). I already have the parts plans in exploded view, but no technical documentation... I gently kicked it, and there’s no problem with the engine (I guess so, I could have kicked it entirely). It’s my first restauration and I have some very basic knowledge in mechanic, but it’s my first time in mechanic. The bike looks great, I don’t think there’s any rust on it. I’d like to remove the tank to clean it before filling it, what do you think about it ? I don't want to start it without checking the tank and his state (idk if you know what I mean, English isn't my first language). I'd like to check several parts before starting it. Also, there's the black part on the top of the shocks absorber (back) cracked, where can I find parts if they're still available ? Thanks for your help ! Ride safe ✌🏻
