    thanks guys,it looks like some one has ripped it off anyway,

    I just wanted to keep the speedo in the tank cover ,so I'll see if I can find something more reliable that will fit the hole in the tank cover.

    yet another question,

    I'm just about to start the plastic welding repairs to my techno ,I have got the paint sorted ,I just need to make the stickers (I have the equipment to make them) but I have no idea what the "font" is anyone got any Ideas?

    this is the font I'm after.

    Hi, Take it to a paint supplier and match it up.

    VW LK7Y (97-99 polo) rings a bell and might be close but check it against a colour chip.

    I own a bodyshop and always have to go through colour chips to find something similar when doing bikes.

    Hi there

    I have a couple of cracks on my techno that I'm going to plastic weld in the next few days.so I was wondering about finding the paint code anyone got any idea where to start looking

    If up is OFF, then horizontal is ON and down is reserve.

    If down is OFF then horizontal is ON and up is reserve.

    Reserve is nearly always opposite OFF, and ON being in the middle.

    Hope that makes sense.

    can someone tell me the three positions of the fuel tap on my 96 techno ,I have straight up ,straight down and horizontal.

    I would think that after 35 years of bikeing I would be able to work it out ,lol

    Hello all

    Iam trying to identify my ty250 mono ,I was told by the seller it was a1989 model

    but according to the numbers its not ,the engine no is 38V-010***is a 1986 2AF European model and frame no is 4AJ-0020** is a 1991

    Japanese Model,can anyone confirm these numbers I can't find much in the way of info on the web,I know its quite easy to build a bike

    from different parts but just in case I have the wrong info I'am asking on here.

  25. Ty250 Disc Conversion

    hello folks

    iam thinking about converting my crap front drum brake to a disc.it is my understanding

    that the forks and disc from a fantic will fit,can anyone tell me what model fantic i need to get the parts from.
