    240 Manual

I wonder if anyone can help. I have a 240 professional in need of some love. I've no pratical knowledge of them but do have the desire to make it run and work as it should. Does anyone know where I may be able to lay my hands on a manual for this bike, even if it means visiting someone and taking a photocopy? many thanks Carl
  3. cheers guys - seems to be a theme there!
  4. Hi Apart from a couple of days motocross and the odd potter on enduro bikes I am a rider who's seldom been off road. However, I have recently been left a Fantic 240 Professional by my late step father and am looking to take up some trial riding. I guess my start point is that the bike needs some work doing to it (it was running in Feb when I took it out but has since been delivered from Spain in the back of a van and doesn't look as good now). Now, in an ideal world I would have a garage and some mechanical competence, but alas, I am lacking in both. With one bike already the Fantic has not gone down overly well and taking it apart in the garden is a no no. Because of this and the bike having some sentimental value I'm looking at having it restored to its former glory. I have seen a couple of sites on the web that do restorations but am seeking out some reccomendations as well, who has a good reputation, specialises in Fantics perhaps and has a passion for what they do. I know these things can be very subjective but all opinions are welcome as I start to find out whats what in the world of trials. Thanks for any assistance in advance and I look forward to stage two which will be to start riding!
