  1. Hi, i am looking at getting a Nissan Vannette and have been told the Serena Mpv is the same vehicle. Does anybody use one of these, how easy is it to remove all the seats to get a bike in? I like the idea of 8 seats every now and again for weekends away, not looking for speed. They seem to be cheaper than the vans on e-bay and obviously much better equipped. Was going for the 2.3 diesel engine. Thanks for any advice. Jim
  2. Hi, Thanks everyone for the excellant response, now i understand the ratio system. Just treated myself to a small jug from asda to measure the oil. Thanks again Jim
  3. Thanks for the replies. The todotrial site is excellant, even though i can't read a word of Spanish, a great help. Thanks Tim. I went to the wobblies trial at Nash Mills last week and joined the club the same day. Just waiting for my riding gear to arrive and i will be out practicing. This might seem a obvious question, but i am not used to 2 stroke mixing. A 50 to 1 mix, how much would that be in cc/fl oz to the gallon? Thanks Jim
  4. Hi, i have just bought a Montesa Cota 348 1978 bike. Does anybody know the correct 2 stroke mix and any advice on synthetic or regular? I was told 25% but that seems high. This might be a daft question, it has a twin plug head, one central and one offset. Why? Am i ment to swop the ht lead over depending on what kind of riding i am doing? Thanks for any advice. Jim
  5. Hi Tim, thanks for the advice about Seymour Arena, i will give it a go. Just managed to locate a pair of size 14 boots, so i am unable to ride until the postie drops them off. I am hoping to get as much training in as body and bike will stand, then enter a wobblie's trial. jim
  6. Hi all. Went to my first trials meet 2 weeks ago and thought i must have a go before i get to fat or old! Just bought a 1978 Montesa Cota 348 in very good condition, I am not looking to be the next "Dougie" just to have some fun and do the easier sections. So, now i have the excuse to loose weight and get fit and the added benefit of joining a great sport. Jim
