I have recently purchased a 1996 well maintained 250 Beta. There is a intermittent significant gas leak that occurs both when riding and standing. I can solve the problem by taking the carb off and checking the needle and float which appear to function well. When replaced the leaking does not occur for several rides. Any suggestions are appreciated.
