hi , i have trouble starting my bike after over heating , it is very easy to kick over, the compression is about 50 psi, does anyone know what the compression should be ??
Received my waterpump shaft today- fitted all new parts- changed oil- still a little whitish but i imagine it will take 1-2 oil changes to sort fully- i`ll change the oil again tomorrow.
Bike running really well at the mo` ( fingers crossed )- went to a practice session today-next thing clutch maintainance session.
cheers
bob
glad to hear !!i changed the oil in mine , its now fine ! thanks for replying, cheers adam
What kind of clutch does it have? I have never owned a Gasser before so I don't know.
My twinshock Husky crosser does this and i thought there was something wrong with it but I was told that it is the aluminium clutch plates that cause it.
It is aircooled.
no mate its water cooled ! , surely if it was the clutch plates there would be tiny shiney bits in the oil . its a hydraulic clutch thats on my gasgas .
hi folks , ive just recently brought a gas gas jtx 270 1997, after fancy trying out trials , just wondering if anybody knows to any clubs or practise areas in birmingham area ? also if any body knows of any info on my bike it would be appricated ! cheers adam
