November 11, 200619 yr Are there any good areas used for training near Salisbury? Don't mind paying or travelling or both...... I've recently been riding in the woods on the MOD training area west of Shipton Bellinger, but don't want a brush with the law (even though I'm on a regd/taxed bike). Thanks.
November 11, 200619 yr If you are road legal there are loads of byways (green lanes) around the salisbury area that you can ride around. Hopefully finding a few practice areas along the way. I used to ride a lot of these trails years ago (on a trail bike though) but can't remember where they are exactly. They are shown on OS Maps. If anyone knows of a proper legal trials practice area around I would also be interested as my son wants to start trials and is 14 (not old enough to use the green lanes yet.)
