Beta Rev 50

Featured Replies

I have just bought my son a 2002 Beta rev50 manual. Is there anything i should watch out for,It has had the new radiator fitted so that shouldn't be a problem.

CHEERS

I ran one for my Son for a year. The Plug tends to "oil up" when first starting. The cure was to "run out" the Petrol by closing the fuel tap and letting it use the remaining fuel when you had finished the trial or carry a spare plug and plug spanner. Some people had problems with the rear exhaust. The early models just had one mount which proved a little weak if the bike was dropped. Later models had a mount which went boths sides of the frame mounting point. Lastly we had an Output shaft break. I have heard of one or two going so it could have just been a faulty batch. Generally tho there are a sturdy bike and will give your young 'un hours of care free riding.
