Sherpa T Ignition Wiring Diagram

I also recommend moving the condenser. I actually use a NAPA condenser which is probably a wee bit cheaper that a Bultaco one.

Hi guys, I’m just trying to bend my head around the electrics side of my Sherpa 183 350cc (1976).

The bike isn’t starting and has been stood still for a number of years. I’ve cleaned up the carb and jets, but after replacing the spark plug I realised there isn’t actually any spark coming through. I’ve taken a couple of pictures of the wiring which I’m just not too sure about.

There appears to be a cut out switch installed. And black and green cables running up from the magneto.

It all looks a bit dodge so thought I would ask the specialists here. Please let me know if you need any more pictures or information.

Many thanks in advance.

James
