June 2, 200719 yr Could anyone tell me the recommended torque for the clutch cover bolts and sump plug on a 06 250 rev. Also is there a workshop manual available? Thanks Ed
June 2, 200719 yr well, clutch cover bolts, not very tight because they only screw into magnesium, and the sump plug, just enough to nip the fibre washer, and then a tiny bit more. I can't find any torque specs really, so I tend to just do it to what feels right, which is normally about right. There are no torque specs in the factory supplied maintainence manual. Bob
June 2, 200719 yr When I rebuilt the top end on the '04 I asked Lampkins about torque settings for the cyclinder and head. The response was there aren't any from the factory but somewere in the region of..... I can't remember the figures but if you really want a figure rather than just using "feel" give em a shout on Monday. But like Bob said for the sump washer just nip it up enough then a tiny tiny bit more
