Plug Fouling On 4rt

Featured Replies

couldnt you just make the hole bigger in the stock item ?

Yes that's also possible, but i want to keep the original parts as they are.

wheres me hacksaw !!!!!!!

have a standard 2006 4rt, no silly ignition maps or owt like that, but the spark plug is getting sooted(spelling?) up something bad. It looks as tho it's running rich. The bike starts to run rough after a couple of events and tick over is noticeably lumpy and stalls more easily as time goes on.

If you run the CR6EH-9 plug, why not try the CR5EH-9. It runs slightly warmer and will burn soot more easily. I use it. No problem so far B) .
