hi, welcome to the world of old bikes, my tlr has rubbish brakes despite doing all i can, i now ride without using brakes hardly at all, just use engine braking, and hope & pray!

than you should check your brakes, my tlr 200 brakes like a new bike (front wheel stoppies are no problem) check if the drum isnt oval and check if you have an I shaped cam on the leaver (there are also D shaped cams and they dont work that well) i ve fitted new brake shous (thinkt it was ebc but i a'm not sure, on my bultaco i've newfren and they are very good).

Yea I have a TLR that came with "I" cams front and rear as apposed to the standard "D" shaped cams and I'm beginning to get fed up with other TLR owners moaning to me about bad brakes and how I out brake them , I just tell them to spend the
