Hi, my easy 97 is running a dream, only problem is that on a hot day it overheats due to the fan not being wired. we have the yellow wire from the stator which produces an ac current, which ranges from 10v at idle and over 200v when revved. been looking for a voltage regulator but can only find a small black box which i don't understand.

There must also be a rectifier in circuit with the fan as it is a DC motor. I cannot recall the specifics, but I think you need to find the other one as well!
