Hi guys , has anyone got any tips for changeing sy 250 swing arm bearings. i got a set today from our local bearing dealer, and was going to fit them later..

Hi godzilla,i've just done mine last week pretty straight forward to do.The headache was stripping everything down just to get the swing arm off. You may need the two bushes as one of my bearings was shot & scored the bush.For the two bushes & two nylon washers

Cheers for that slack. dont want to take it apart to find it needs something i havent got . how old is your bike has i had a lot of use?

Hi Godzilla it's 2001 sy, i've hadit for nearly 2 year & the only time she has let me down was when it sheard the woodruff key. I fancy a newer one but i keep thinking i'll just be buying some one elses troubles. Do you do the trials i'm a member of consett & live in stanley. If you need any more info just let me know & i'll try & help.

Yeh i ride the darlington and richmond trials, i was going to have a look up your way. i got my 05 sy a month ago and am un the process of sorting it to my standard.

thanks for the kind offer of help, hopefully i wont need to take you up on it very often. switched from sherco as i kept letting me down, there are only so meny times i bike can loose its gears before you loose confidence in it. touch wood once i have sorted the scorpa she will stay with me untill i can afford a syf..
