October 20, 200817 yr Hi All, Has anyone done a 250/290 to 125 c.c. conversion? What do you need...jetting, manifold, reeds, barrel, piston, top end bits, ?stator and flywheel for 08 etc. I expect the barrel is the most expensive part. I don't suppose anyone has a decent 125 barrel they want to sell? Thanks.
October 20, 200817 yr now i do think it will be very hared as the stroke of the 250/290 is longer it may be posible to go fron 80 to 125 im just about to try ill let you know in about two weeks time Edited October 20, 200817 yr by towinguk
October 21, 200817 yr Not dooable, as the crankshaft is different throw and the cases are different too I am sure! Yet it can be done! Find someone with a 125 that wants a big bike and swap the motors!
