Thinking Of Buying A Montesa

1999-2003 Montesa Cota 315R aluminium frame?

Yeah, go and get one :D A friend of mine came from a Climber to a 315r, loved it.

I'm with you there! Nothing suits my style like a Beta and as such I'm willing to forgive many things!

Ok. I think my mind is set on a montesa cota 315r. In terms of maintenece/repair its not a problem as i can fix most things.

what sources are there for purchasing a trials bike (other than e-bay)? Any other decent websites that advertise bikes. I am in the North East so any reccomendations for local places to buy would be apprichiated

cheers

Check out the classifieds in the back of Trials and Motocross News. There's usually a Mont or two there each week. :D

I recently went from a 2005 GasGas 300 to a 2000 Cota 315r and am happier than ever. I really like the suspension on the Montesa and I find the power to be much more controllable. You'll find the front end on the Monty is a little heavier but IMHO that is good because it means the bike is balanced better between front and rear. I wrote up a detailed comparison between the two. If you'd like to read it you can find it here.

Good Luck,

John
