Hi Folks,

Would anyone know where I could download free or to buy, a service book for a 1999 Gas Gas TXT270.

I'm specifically looking for the fluid quantities on this bike and any other service related info.

Just got the bike and previous owners appear to have neglected the bike mechanically.

Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi Notfallenyet,

    I don't think there is a service book for this bike but they are pretty straight forward to work on.

    Clutch/gearbox - use a mineral 10 weight oil, 700ml. Failing that use an ATF rated to Dexron III.

    Forks - 5 or 7.5 weight, 280ml.

    I run 50:1 fuel/oil ratio though others use a leaner mix.
