October 7, 200421 yr Been asked to fit a brand new Keihin onto a '04 125.......... anyone done this yet?? Just looking for good base setting for jets, needle, air screw, etc. Cheers. STU
October 7, 200421 yr Alexz wigg has one on his GG 125 and it works well enough, think the jetting isn't that different to the 45 125 but will ask later.
October 7, 200421 yr I`m running a Kei Hin with 38 pilot, 110 main,JJH Needle. The 125 + 200 have a different crankcase casting, with a shorter length where the reed block mounts. This makes it a bit tighter, and the float bowl drain hex needs a chamfer to clear the top of the gearbox , also need a hose from carb to airbox about 50 mm long. I use the radiator hose off a car with the right diameters. It`s a bit of work to fit up, but the performance gains are well worth it. Cheers, ShercoH
October 8, 200421 yr Author Cheers guys, fitted the b*stard last night. Haven't got my hands on jets yet, running standard 45/125 jets, JJH needle, clip in the middle position. Air screw half a turn out and its near right, any further out and it just bogs down when you whack the throttle open from tickover. Try and get more jets today.
