clarkie Posted February 5, 2009 Report Share Posted February 5, 2009 hi all i have just taken clutch out to try the sanding trick and have four cork and three others plus the steel ones sorry not good at this,first time taking clutch apart.But looking at the manual it seems they where fitted in a different order please can someone tell me the right order plus do you sand all the plates including the cork and others many Thanks...... tt5th Posted February 5, 2009 Report Share Posted February 5, 2009 Only sand the metal plates and with quite a coarse grade sand paper. Install the friction plates and metal plates alternately, starting with one of the 4 cork plates. If Cork friction = C, Paper friction = P and Steel Clutch plate = S it would go like this - C,S,C,S,C,S,C,S,P,S,P,S,P Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
