April 22, 201016 yr Author Robert, Thanks for the offer. We do have HD equipment but find it easier for most viewers to supply a SD final product. HD is more labour intensive and one of the key aims is to get footage out to the pubs within a hour or so of filming each day. We have a relationship with the SSDT committee that is quite limited in passes and I doubt they would agree to expanding this. We are very luck to get the access we do. Our filming and supply of footage is a hobby and doesn't even cover our bar bills so there would be nothing in it for you either. To be honest I think we get the general feel of the week pretty well the way we do it and only publish a tiny percentage of the footage we get so additional footage brings more hastle than benifit. Sorry but I like the laid back way we currently work and can't face turning this it to more of a monster than it already is. I think you'd be disappointed at how unprofessional Matt and I are too.
