A good friend told me about some different types of rubber I could try a thicker piece and bend the skid plate out away to allow for the additional thickness. I'll look into that option too. Jay

Hmm.. i thought that once... If you bend the skid plate you also have to do something to skid plates front atachement points beacause bended skid plate is "shorter" than original...

(I have difficulties in explainin this clearly enough... I hope it makes sense...)
