mcman56 Posted June 18, 2009 Report Share Posted June 18, 2009 My C15 has a clutch actuator (pivot) that threads into the timing cover. I have been told the Cub is the same. It interfaces with the cable and rod. When rotated into the correct location, the threads are not tight. Does this matter? Will it flex around an destroy the threads? Is there a standard correction? woody Posted June 18, 2009 Report Share Posted June 18, 2009 Nothing to worry about I'd say. Mine is the same, if you screw it tight it is way out of line for the cable so it needs to be backed off. charlie prescott Posted June 27, 2009 Report Share Posted June 27, 2009 Hi Guy's If you have some spare cash and own a "Cub" I would buy one of Duncan MacDonalds conversions as this is a brilliant bit of engineering and solves any clutch adjustment problems in one.
