Mine has a crude device welded to the down tube drectly under the headstock with two stops welded on either side which engage the bottom yoke on lock.

Am looking to do similar with a B25 frame I have knocking about in the garage, at the moment just trying to get it to a rolling chasis, Where did you get your adaptors made Woody as I see you also live in Birmingham, Have thought about using fork slider bushes from modern bikes as they can be bought at what seems the right size but are split so not sure if they would work in the same way
