C15 Battery

Hi All,

I'm new to the forum so go gently on me!

I'm building a C15 for chugging up and down green lanes and the occasional really easy trial.

I've decided to fit lights and have converted to 12V using a solid state regulator/rectifier.

My question is, can anyone suggest a battery I can use? I just wanted the smallest, lightest 12 Volter I can tuck away somewhere with enough capacity to spit a few sparks out when I start the bike. it would be highly advantageous if I could fit it in any orientation so sealed or AGM would be ideal.

I'm not particularly concerned about being able to keep the lights at full brightness at tickover.

I don't really understand electrisity as you can't turn or mill it...

thanks in advance... Phil

Hi Guys,

That screwfix one looks to be the kind of thing I'm after. I'll pick one up and report back on its performance. As long as the output from the alternator isn't too high, resulting in overcharging of the battery.

At the price it's worth experimenting with though.

Regards... Phil
