December 17, 200916 yr Got them today, ~2 weeks after ordering; about what I'd expect getting them overseas (I'm in Boston, MA) The look solid, about 5mm thick; laser cut. Not show bike material, but could be, with a little elbow grease. Unfortunately, it's going to be several days at best until I get to compare then to the stockers and install them. Sam
December 17, 200916 yr Author I received them yesterday and installed them last night. The rear of the bike definitely sits a little higher. I should get a good test of them this weekend.
December 18, 200916 yr Got them today, ~2 weeks after ordering; about what I'd expect getting them overseas (I'm in Boston, MA) You bought the V-Mars from overseas? That's a lot of travaling since there made in California
December 18, 200916 yr I'm 210 lbs and they helped the rear end ride higher, which in turn increased the steering response. The V-mar ones are aluminum and I have seen that after a LOT of use the holes get egg shaped. I bought some stainless steel ones from Lewisport, they're cheaper and more durable. They are milled out in the middle, and a bit thicker as well.
December 18, 200916 yr the vmars are a copy of the mitani ones Yes they are good at copying!!!!!!!!!!
