So What Do You Do To Make A Majesty ?

Featured Replies

Got a TY250 twinshock been littering up a corner of the shed for a couple of years and i am considering fettling it up for a bit of twinshock action later in 2010 so what do i have to do to it to make it competitive ?

I was thinking along the lines of frame mods as per the origanal Majestys which had the frames cut and shut if the old grey cells serve me well.

Does anybody have any details of what they cut out or what are the best frame mods?

Already done the footrests and the rear shock top mounts and just got me a Majesty tank. Also had the yokes bored to 35mm and fitted a new set of Marzocchis. Is it worth raking the steering and then fitting TY250 mono fork bottoms ala Pre 65 forks ?

Finally what colour is a Majesty as i've seen white with red frame, Yellow with red frame and white with blue frames and all the owners said they were original. Suppose i could paint it whatever i wanted as i will not be trying to make out it is an original but was just wondering about the colour.
