righty ho the story so far is its survived an all day thrashing by me and pulls hard in every gear now. the plug is NOT new as i was out with the previous owner and asked him when it was last changed, he shrugged and said "dunno never changed it in the year i had it" :thumbup: so off for a new one tommorow. however it does seem to be running alright not hot,pinking,knocking etc etc. thanks for all the replies and help lads lets hope this one is now put to bed.
