Hi. I recently retired and I have just started the restoration of a 1976 Honda TL125S. The bike came with an engine from a SL125, but the cylinder head is unuseable. Has anyone fitted a Honda CG125 engine to one of these bikes? Will any CG engine fit? I am hoping to use the bike on the roads. Any help you can offer will be appreciated. Thanks. JOHN

    easy fit and better engine,wireing is different,but easy to modify.i have fitted at least 10 to different tls.when tls were 2 a penny.

    Thanks for the advice. I would like to keep the TL original but cost prevents this. If I fit CG engine, loom, lights, indicators it should all work! Off now to look for a CG engine. JOHN
