January 25, 200521 yr as my plans for a new bike have been curtailed (ask the wife !!) i am thinking of revamping my '03 250 pro , i once saw a firm at dirt bike expo dont know which year , that possibly "painted " wheel rims has anyone heard of this before / has done it, was it succesfull . also refinishing of manky engine casings whats the best way , engine tuning , what if any is the best way to soften the power (clubman B use) flywheel weights / keihein carb / thick head gasket etc whats your expeireince (sp?)
January 25, 200521 yr There's a firm in T&MX who do wheel rims, called Candy Wheels, a lad in my area has just had his rims done gold on his '05 PRO, they look really good, was thinking about getting mine done in blue, but i'm to clumsy and would probably scratch hell out of them in one trial !!
January 25, 200521 yr my son had his wheels anodised last year from candy wheels, nice job ,before you get them done see what your spoke nipples and spokes are like, if rusty you'll need to replace them. we sent them to him because at the time he could not supply them, he will polish the hubs (

January 25, 200521 yr Yeh dans do look good, pros look hard as **** with black rims but the gold ones on mine look trick!!!!! Mine are from candy wheels and he has made a awesome job, no spokes have come loose. He's a top guy!!! Guess you'll have seen the results Dan? we drew!!!!!! ahh. They split us into classes so we'll never know who actually won. Blowers... get yours done blue that would look awesome!!!

Heath , do you have the trialstar graphics on your bike or a mates , if so can you post a piccy please , its not really that clear on their site where the seat graphics go , because like you i fancy a colour change but graphics could be a cost effective option .i'm not that hot on the wheel job, i have something else in mind which would alter the look but i'm keeping tight lipped bout that for now , cheers .
January 26, 200521 yr Author and whilst i'm at it every other brand of bike i try besides my pro seems to ride on 12" TRAVEL suspension and feel realy really plush regardless of set up etc , do pros have harsher feeling suspension than paoli and showa equipped bikes and what can i do about it
