January 28, 200521 yr I can sum up for ya why the aftermarket doesnt make a killing in the trials scene, as such... In this kind of sport, the .002 thousandths of a gram that you shave with the titanium bolt (yeah Im exxagerating) did NOT keep you from putting your foot down 3 times, or going out of bounds 3 times at the last trials you finished off the podium in. Do I need the fat bars? no. want them, well maybe. I dunno, but hell, I go nuts with the idea sometimes- that FOX gets 2 bucks a sticker I put on the dang number plate... and yet after I put this on, I still fived section 3, 5 times last week? Make the changes to the bike, all you want, in fact I would suggest that you dont let yourself get annoyed when they ask "why'd you do that?" or whatever. because You know, it is to make sure you havent stumbled onto the next big thing.... But dont forget that, deep down - we all know that Dougie, Fuji & Raga, will whip our ass riding either his, mine, or your bike. so does it matter? But in Moto-x, the bikes from the factory compared to the works bike next to you, is possible to kick your ass in the straight between turn 1 and the second whoops, even if you are 'perfect' on the bike... "If I put Nitros on a wr450F, then I could McGrath down the straight, whoohoo!!! here's your seven thou, ship that kit over here..." That my friend is the silly mindset & unfortunate reality, of the racer crowd...
January 28, 200521 yr I can't see why someone hasn't stormed the market with graphics, like the trialstar kit. Because Cota a lot of folks are like YOU!! who are too F******g tight to even pay the extreme price of one of the REP fuel caps which i believe you said....." yeah they look good but they are
January 28, 200521 yr The way riders talk in the forum i would think the most obvious extra on a trials bike would be a pair of stabilisers (remember ty80s they had them) especially "LAST PLACE BRAD" but obviously not me
