March 12, 201115 yr We have gone over to Expert, Intermediate & Clubman. We used to have a 50/50 route but it caused more grumbles than anything else and was only there because it was easier for the course setter to not lay out a third route. Never met anybody who called themselves a 50/50 rider so noe Intermediate. We use red & blue for Experts, Yellow deviation for Intermediate and White deviation for Clubman. Clubman incorporates Novice and anybody who wants a less challenging ride. Our first and last event with this new system was at Dudwood and seemed to go down well however it was a bit too hard because of the weather so the next event at Bracken will be a bit easier.
March 12, 201115 yr Are Scarborough' employing this system now? I believe they are just giving it a go this weekend to see how it works . if it works well then hopefully they will stick with it. I hope so as Scarborough are a big, well organized club, if they throw their weight behind this system it would really help the cause (in this centre). Edited March 12, 201115 yr by wri5hty
