September 27, 201015 yr Is there anyone who have experience in TYZ 250 -93. I have found one who seems ok, but I does this model have much problems?

September 27, 201015 yr we have had 3 first s s d t was 1996 good and reliable ,grip like hell ,good ones are now hard to come by.hope you enjoy it.
September 27, 201015 yr A very reliable bike if maintained. The only weakness in the structural stakes I found was the rear subframe which was relatively easily bent in falls. I had mine straightened and rewelded twice while I had it (2 years). The main frame, swingarm and front end are incredibly strong and some would say overdesigned. The TY250Z does have limitations in some riding situations due to the long wheelbase and limited steering (side-to-side) angle.

May 17, 201214 yr The engine design, being Yamaha is very sound, but that may not be the most important thing in a bike that is now 19 years old. How it has been maintained can mean it might be fine or it might be knackered
