Featured Replies

Hi All,

Just about to pick up my first gasser ;) , 02 250 txt and would like some info on servicing and oils etc.

I know that it is more than likely been done here before but as I have always had Betas I have never read this part of the forum.

Type and amount of gear oil

Plug

Fork oil amount

Fuel ratio

and any other useful info would be great

Thanks in advance

If it is the Pro model then take your airbox apart and seal it up well with a good silicon seal or that rubber stuff that seals windscreens... also put the extended rear rubber flap on the rear of the airbox to stop as much water and crud getting up into the air inlet, Oh and the front engine guard under the radiator.

r2w...

Is this applying to 2004 GG300 pro also?

Less so on the newer models Teedo, but it's still not a bad idea to seal the airbox seam regardless...just as insurance. The front engine guard r2 mentioned is also a nice idea and makes for easier cleaning to boot.
