June 7, 201115 yr Has anyone got a spacer for the non brake side for front wheel or can anyone make one from dimensions of their own, I have either lost mine or didn't realise I had not received it when I bought the suzuki front end. Also has anyone machined off the normal handlebar (i.e. tiller type position) and put clamps on in a more modern position ?
June 8, 201115 yr I may have a spacer, I will look when I get home. Yes I had a bike recently that had the original mounts milled off and Renthal bar mounts bolted on and it worked very well.
June 10, 201115 yr Sorry can't find one but the dimesons are 12mm ID, 19mm OD and 25mm length. 09180-12057 is the part number.
June 10, 201115 yr Author HI Thanks for help, don't suppose you know if it is available form crooks (for instance) if not will get one made.
June 11, 201115 yr Sorry I have no idea if it's available or not, try your local dealer frist in case it's a common part or e-mail Crooks.
June 11, 201115 yr Author Thanks, found out part is obsolete from Crooks website, did locate part using your part number (thanks), slightly different dimensions according to crooks though, it is only 22mm wide rather than 25mm according to their spec on part, will have to get something made, will go to 25mm easier to take a little off than put some back on !
June 12, 201115 yr Crooks dimensions are different because there is a 3mm washer/spacer of about 25mm OD either of the wheel, one by the spacer and the other between the brake plate and the fork leg.
