June 17, 201115 yr I had the repsol model, sometimes it needed to be reset by opening the throttle fully once then it would fire up. Good luck

June 17, 201115 yr Author how can i tell if fuel is getting through? all i've done is take the tank off and remove the banjo bolt on one of the pipes, there was fuel in both of these, thats as far as ive looked, having never stripped a 4rt before i got a bit confused, do you suggest taking off the throttle body? again thanks for your help wayne ps i had to go to work so i didnt look through the manual just looked for anything obvious. should have realised it was never going to be that easy.

June 17, 201115 yr Did your friend change the idle-speed? 4RT needs aa idle-speed from about 1.900 revs/min to start the motor easily. Also you need a very little clearance at the throttle. German Munster
June 17, 201115 yr I think it was brave of you to try one but I'm sure someone will solve it. You could ask you're riding friend's dad, better still ask his dog!

June 18, 201115 yr It was a while back so my memory isnt that clear but think the vast number of earths was a problem, some or all weren't making a good contact. the washing thing was a connector block with water in it. Evey connection has to be spot on.
