Would someone care to share their knowledge of the evolution of the TR34 engine? Specifically what changes and improvements were made from the original 240? Of most interest is what changes were made to the cylinder/piston/crankshaft/carb. I'm restoring a Campionato which is missing the top of the motor and I need to source parts that will work correctly. I've searched the web for such info but so far have found very little.

in regard to spec changes im not sure. john hulme has a great supply of bike specs and you may be able to compare years if he's got some on them.
