October 13, 201114 yr Hi Folks, I'm after some help if possible, I have a Gasgas JTX250 (1997ish), it has Renthal 660 bars on it which I find to be abit low, mainly because at 6'2" it feels to me that too much of my body weight is over the bars. My friend has a Montesa which has higher bars which after measuring is 2" higher than mine, which feels alot nicer to ride and control My question is should I replace my handlebars ? If so what would you consider a good replacement that will give me extra height, or, would a better option be to fit bar risers ? Many thanks in advance for your help
October 14, 201114 yr bar risers will probably be cheaper. Hello mate i have a the same problem have a vary bad back so went to 5" bars from jitse and are so much better just cant ride with anything lower.
October 15, 201114 yr Author Have got some 30mm risers, will be fitting them tomorrow and hopefully have aspin to see what difference they make
