October 15, 201114 yr Hello all, I have just completed a main bearing change and although I am sure that everything was replaced correct I have an issue with my clutch basket. The problem is....When I tighten the basket nut too the suggested 60 NM I can not kick start the bike, it feels like it is seized. Its ok if I slacken the bolt right off, but then I have a noisy clutch. I remember that the bolt was tight when I removed it initially, Regards Jeff
October 15, 201114 yr I'm thinking you may not have installed the washer that goes behind the clutch basket? On the clutch shaft.

Yes, you are right, drained the oil out and after further inspection I found that I installed the top hat bush facing plate side. I turned it around and it is now sorted.Thanks for finding the time too reply.
