December 8, 201114 yr I know oil threads are probably taboo but here goes anyway. Just wondering what brand of injector oil is best for a 74 ty250. Full syth or dino oil? Also should I get specific 2 stroke trans oil or is atf the way to go? thanks for any help. Fergie

Fergie I use either 10w30 or automatic trans. for trans oil, but for injection, I got rid of the pump and use premix Guy
December 8, 201114 yr The pump was removed from all three of my TY250's, I use Castrol TTS Power 1 at 50-1 mix,works fine.(But it also works well in my chainsaws and strimmer.....) May not be right,but it works. Gearbox oil is actually a Land Rover product - MTF94,again probably not right,but works well for me and is cheap.(I run a Land Rover garage.)
