December 13, 201114 yr hi all does any one own a pair of alpinestars no stop trials boots, if so how are they? are they a good choice of boots? many thanks
December 13, 201114 yr Hi these boots are great, best support / protection and good feel I the pegs from new. Only down side is they don't last very long. I only get between 6 to 12 months then there shot.
December 13, 201114 yr The most comfortable and supported boot ever, I find mine last pretty well also, longer than the last pair of another well known make I had. Edited December 13, 201114 yr by jordi
December 13, 201114 yr I really enjoy my set had them for a couple years now, still going strong. Only problem I have had is the ankle area is rubbing on something on the right boot and getting some gouges in the leather. I am considering gluing a "protective" piece of throw away leather in that spot. I can't get rid of the mid pipe mount that the boot is hitting.
December 13, 201114 yr Author well looks like i have just found my new boots then thanks for the replys
December 14, 201114 yr Man you guys must ride ALOT ! I've had mine 4 years now , starting to get some pretty good cracking in the leather, ankle area, sloes are getting thin over the pegs. BTW I'm happy with'em
December 14, 201114 yr Think the time they last is affected by how often you ride rivers, sure if you rode in dry conditions they'd last ages. Best boots I've used, wouldn't buy anything else Edited December 14, 201114 yr by Duggan
