Hi not sure what that washer might be. Am only a novice myself if it was on the sump side though it it highly likely to be something from the gearbox side, which is not good. All my problems seemed to lay in the clutch side and were easily repairable. My advice would be post something on this site or get in touch with Trials and Tribulations 01694722894, both avenues have been extremely useful to me. Hope this helps
