So, recovering from too much sun on the weekend, and a nasty stomach bug, I was tinkering around in the garage and decided to check the state of the Jitsie filter. The last time I rode the bike was last Thursday, as it was hot and dry the venue was quite dusty but I was surprised at how much dust was caught on the jitsie filter that would otherwise have been caught by the main tube filter. I checked them both out to compare and the main filter was spotless and did not require any cleaning. A quick clean and light re-oiling of the jitsie and I am good to go again.
