stecks Posted June 1, 2012 Report Share Posted June 1, 2012 I think it was Sammy Miller who said that when it comes to transporting your bike, you should spend a little more in order to protect your investment. I think Sam used Pick-ups in those days. Some people used to make short trailers where the bike sat on its sump shield and the rear wheel hung off the back. Sam wondered what would happen if someone ran into the back of your set up - what sort of mess would your bike be in - and perhaps more appropriately, who would cover the cost of repair?
