scoobie
Hi, I'm just about to get my frist trials bike after green laning for some years. I've decided on a Scorpa, but which one? I'm a novice; 12 stone in weight. I had fancied a long rider but wasn't sure. Are they easy to work on/service? Cheers,
dfwilson
Get a SY-250 Racing model and put a Long Ride seat on it. That way you get the best of both. Ciao Doug Wilson

dgshannon
Hi,Cheers everyone. Any particular year of manufacture to avoid/get? Thanks, I have had an '02, '03, & '04 SY250, and they were all great bikes. Each year they improved the engine performance, but not so dramatic that I would say to avoid any of the years. I now have an '05 SY175F, and am very pleased with it. If you are really into having a seat (LongRide), then I would suggest that the seat available for the SY125/175F is a lot more functional and comfortable than the one on the SY250 LongRide.
